Welcome. I'm Lisa Catanese, ELS, sole proprietor of Blue Blaze Communications LLC. I offer high-quality, professional freelance writing and editing services for a wide variety of projects. My specialty is health and medical writing for consumer and professional audiences.

I've written extensive website content, magazine and newspaper articles, journal articles, media kits, training materials for physicians and nurses, newsletters, brochures, and more. I promise on-time completion, excellent project management, close attention to detail, and competitive pricing.

Although I specialize in health and medical writing, I've written about a range of other subjects too. Home schooling, shellfish reproduction, hang-gliding, trained hearing dogs, and manufacturing enterprise software are a few of the topics I've covered for various publications and clients.
